Leo Russell founded Pride Technologies in 1983 with a focus on providing IT services to financial institutions. As Pride continued to grow, Leo diversified the business until it became Pride Global, the integrated human capital services firm it is today. Pride now specializes in vendor management, payroll services, business process optimization, attorney and leadership development, and complete staffing services for both direct hire and contingent labor solutions. Additionally, Pride employs 3000 associates over a broad geographic area, with offices throughout the U.S., Canada, India, and Brazil. As featured in Crain’s New York Business, Pride is the largest minority-owned vendor management and staffing firm, as well as the 5th largest minority-owned company in the New York Area.
In addition to his responsibilities at Pride, Leo also held senior leadership positions at Young & Rubicam and Lehman Brothers. He received a BA in Economics from Claremont Men's College. He also attended the OPM Program and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. He enjoys competitive sports, continuous learning and spending time with his wife and three children in Connecticut.
